About Brett Phipps

With over ten years of experience in the gaming industry, I am a passionate and creative social media and digital publishing manager at Activision Blizzard, overseeing the content strategy and execution for some of the most iconic franchises, such as Diablo, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch. I bring fan-first editorial thinking to content whilst ensuring it maintains platform best practice in order to deliver exceptional results. In my current role, I manage a team of six social specialists and coordinators across 12 international markets, driving over 100% year-on-year growth (2021-to-2022) in engagements and reach for all Blizzard titles. I also led the social launch of Diablo IV, generating over 30 million views across influencer activations on Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. Additionally, I am responsible for launching new channels for Overwatch and Diablo in Germany and France, expanding our audience and reach in these priority regions. My mission is to create engaging, relevant, and impactful content that connects with our fans and showcases the amazing stories and experiences that Blizzard games offer.
