As the Field Operations Team Leader, I support, motivate, and develop ground staff to deliver the highest standard of guiding and customer service excellence across a range of multi-day small group tours and single day guided experiences within Japan. My core body of professional specialties range from product development, long-range program delivery, customer service, cross-functional team leadership, inbound & outbound marketing, and client relationship management. In my previous role as a Senior Tour Leader at Inside Travel Group, I was responsible for leading weeks-long tours for small groups visiting Japan, achieving recognition as the Tour Leader of the Year at the 2019 Wanderlust World Guide Awards held in London. I also leveraged unique market insights to develop bespoke products and tours in liaison with a global team, including creating one of Japan’s best-selling videogame tours.
