About Brett Redman

I’ve spent more than three decades in Australia’s energy industry and I’m proud to be leading Transgrid Group through one of the most important transitions in our history. We’re building the nation’s energy super-highways, major projects that will connect renewables and help deliver cleaner, more reliable power for Australians.Before joining Transgrid Group as CEO in 2021, I spent nearly 15 years at AGL Energy, including as CEO and MD, and served as Chair of the Australian Energy Council. I now sit on the Board of Energy Networks Australia, chair the ENA Policy and Strategy Committee, and serve on the Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Advisory Board, working with others across the sector to strengthen collaboration and share lessons from the transition.I’ve always believed that strong performance and social licence go hand in hand. I’m passionate about working with communities, industry and government to deliver energy that’s reliable, affordable and sustainable. I’m also a proud member of the Champions of Change Coalition - Energy Group, and actively support initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion and equality in the workplace.
