I am a business academic and practitioner, beginning my career as a traditional product designer and transitioning over the years to apply design thinking to all things business. I teach business skills, conduct business research, communicate business ideas and develop business offerings, drawing on 25+ years of experience in marketing, administrative and educational roles across industry and academia. I recognize the plethora of sustainability issues we face this century, and believe business, alongside government and civil society, has a pivotal role to play in tackling societal challenges. To this end, I am currently undertaking doctoral studies to explore how companies engage in collective action to manage complex social and environmental issues that matter to their business and stakeholders.
