I'm a Systems Librarian with substantial experience as a Reference & Instruction Librarian across Medicine, Economics, Psychology, Geography/GIS and Computer Science. I have professional experience with Unix administration, several Integrated Library Systems, integrating cataloging workflows, OpenURL revolvers, and discovery layers. I'm an Electronic Resources Librarian with extensive experience with the Serials Solutions suite, including Intota. I've negotiated contracts with vendors in Qatar, the UAE, Canada, and the United States. I'm a Copyright Librarian with extensive instruction experience and three completed copyright policy development projects across three different organizations. I've been an IT Liaison Librarian with experience in weeding, collection development, purchasing, process optimization, and extensive experience with large-scale cataloging and uploading of MARC records from vendor repositories. As part of the reference team, I provided reference services for all departments including Health Sciences, Business, Academics, Engineering and IT. At the University of Toronto Mississauga, I was the GIS/Data librarian and the Psychology librarian. At the OMA, I provide research and reference services for government documents, legal information, grey literature, and health information while supporting GeniePlus. I've implemented LibGuides from the beginning at CNAQ and the OMA. I have experience as a storyteller and a docent, working with a translator and 50+ guests in a fast-paced, constantly changing tourist location.
