About Brettany Rivera

Obtained B.B.A from Strayer University and MBA from University of Phoenix. Currently a Center Director at Heart and Paw Previously a Practice Manager at World of Animals Mayfair Previously Human Resource Manager at World of Animals Inc. I am an accomplished veterinary professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. Throughout my career, I have held various roles, including laboratory animal caretaker, veterinary technician, kennel manager, anesthesiologist, receptionist, office manager, human resource manager, and practice manager. I am passionate about managing people and helping them achieve and develop their skills and goals. As a leader, I’ve managed a team of 24 and assists in coaching and developing a larger team of over 60 individuals. My coaching style is both supportive and collaborative, adapting to the unique needs of her team. My focus is fostering an environment where team members can confidently contribute, grow, and work together to find solutions. I am inspired to become a certified veterinary practice manager and is most proud of leading a team to become Clear certified with Not One More Vet (NOMV), demonstrating my commitment to both professional growth and the well-being of my team. In my approach to client relations, I emphasize listening, compassion, and empathy, striving to work with clients to navigate toward mutual solutions.
