About Bria Comer

My name is Bria Comer, and I am a licensed physical therapist assistant, dancer, instructor, and choreographer. I started dancing as a 4-year old shy little girl, and fell in love with the feeling of being on stage. I never dreamed of being anything other than a dancer. An accident my freshman year of college threatened to alter my dream, but in the end it just expanded my dream to include therapy as well! I know firsthand how powerful dance, fitness, and having a passion for what you do can be. I graduated in May 2011 with honors cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, and in December 2018 with honors summa cum laude from Carroll Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant program. I currently hold certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. I teach dance at 24/7 Dance Studio, and I am the Artistic Director of Equinox Dance Company, an adult non-profit group which seeks to bring dance to the community to show individuals just how much their bodies are capable of. I am thrilled to be able to help people achieve any health, dance, or fitness goal - whether it be getting started with a dance or fitness program, working through an injury, overcoming a plateau, or any other obstacle.
