About Brian Adcock

Over the last 20+ years of my career, I have held multiple roles as a police officer with various departments, a firefighter, an educator, and an investigator. Throughout these experiences, I have developed broad investigative, training, and disaster response knowledge that allows me to act with precision in the field and then transfer that to the classroom as an educator. AREAS OF EXPERTISE: I have two main areas of specialization that I have dedicated much of my career to: training and fire investigation. As a trainer and educator, I am known for my ability to enhance the investigative performance of my students using various methodologies and programs I have developed. I have also led or coordinated hundreds of investigations throughout my career by rendering professional opinions as to the incident origin, cause, responsibility, and prevention with scientific-based processes. HOW I MAKE A DIFFERENCE: I am highly dedicated to augmenting the skillset of the next generation of investigators and firefighters. As a Lieutenant of Frankfort Fire Protection District, I am seen as a mentor and leader. I have a deep passion for talent development and instilling disciplined practices into my students and colleagues that ultimately foster the proper disaster response and consistent professionalism. As I look forward toward my next opportunity, I am seeking to leverage my significant experience in the field as a firefighter and police officer, as well as my time spent as an educator to contribute to an organization in an investigative capacity.
