About Brian Altwasser
Brian has worked in the Gift and Estate Planning unit at UBC since 2003. Prior to that, he had accumulated significant experience in the Estate and Trust field by working at Royal Trust, first as a Tax officer and then as a Trust Officer. Brian's duties at UBC include the administration of all estate and trust gifts to UBC, UBC Okanagan, the UBC Foundation and the American Foundation for UBC as well as interacting with donors who wish to leave to gift to UBC through a planned gift. Brian is a member of STEP and the Estate Planning Council of Vancouver. He is a graduate of UBC( Master of Business Administration) as well as Carleton University (Bachelor of Commerce) and Ryerson University (Bachelor of Applied Arts). Brian strongly believes in the great benefits derived from education in our modern civil society. He is pleased and proud to represent UBC in all matters related to planned giving and estate administration.
