When removing the burned wood smell from from homes is the cure sometimes worse than the problem? Restoration companies often use a type of Shellac-based product to encapsulate smoke odors. Shellac is highly toxic and causes cancer, blindness, kidney failure, blood in the lungs and more just to name a few. RESULTS: Our AirQ coatings encapsulate odors, prevent mold growth and help to make the interior of the wall cavities breathable thus reducing moisture build up which can lead to mold and odor problems, all with a non-toxic easy to apply powder that can be mixed on site with water. We have been solving problems such as the renovation of the Myrtle Beach Holiday Inn Express, which had to be redone due to a major storm on the east coast in 2019.
