About Brian Baker

I have 24 years law enforcement experience comprised of five years in corrections and 19 years in policing. My experience includes 13 years of supervisory positions up to command level. I currently serve as the Commander of Operations. I have extensive training in Patrol and SWAT tactics. I was the team leader and SWAT Commander of the West Fort Bend Regional SWAT team. I am a police instructor including ALERRT. I have training as a public information officer and have done numerous media interviews and press releases. I have recruited, interviewed and hired both police officers and dispatchers. My experience involves developing policy and overseeing the police training program. I strongly believe in physically fit police officers and I am certified as a Coopers law enforcement fitness specialist. I have over TCOLE training hours and hold a Master TCOLE certification. My formal education includes an Associate of Arts in humanities from Houston Community College and Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University. I graduated with honors in both degrees. My passion is servant leadership and strong positive relationships with the community.
