Executive Management - Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and company's long-term strategy- Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution. Financial Planning and Analysis - Establish yearly objectives and meeting agendas, and selecting and engaging outside consultants, auditors and lenders- Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management. Complete analysis of financial results; develop recommendations- Oversee cash flow planning, investment and asset management - Manage the development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports. Responsible for developing and maintaining the company's financial policies and procedures- Oversee policies and systems designed to ensure that risk is managed, regulatory oversight responsibilities are complied with, financial goals are targeted and budgets are met. Accounting and Administration - Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems- Oversee preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements. Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly BS, P&L and Cash Flow- Review all month-end closing activities including GL maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocations- Oversee Payroll, AP and AR management, including support to collection activities- Serve as key management for external auditors and tax partners; Manage preparation and support of all external audits and tax compliance reporting- Mentor accounting personnel, manage workflow, training and problem resolution. Corporate Development - Represent company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, foundation executives, auditors, public officials- Participate in corporate policy developments as a member of the senior management team.
