About Brian Bernard

I relocated to New Zealand in June 2008 to join the management team of AbsoluteIT the leading specialist IT recruitment company in New Zealand. I come to AbsoluteIT with over 30 years of experience in the IT & T industry. I am a senior professional with an international P&L background in the UK and USA. I have experience in general and sales management, strategic planning, marketing, and new business development, including the expansion of customer and partner initiatives. My responsibilities at absoluteIT includes the management of absoluteIT consulting staff, Candidate Managers and business development. Before joining AbsoluteIT, I served as President and Senior Vice President of two companies: ABRTech formed in 2003 by myself and two partners, and Baywood Technologies, both based in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. I was responsible for building the IT consulting division and helped expand the IT Training division from a start-up to a multi-million dollar business unit. I have also held various senior roles in the management of Training, Staffing, Consulting, and Business Solutions. I was educated in the UK and I am also an ordained Minister. I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity Degree at Reformed Theological Seminary Specialties: IT Recruitment, Sales Management, Consulting
