About Brian Bookamyer

Over my 28 years since graduating from university, I have been fortunate enough to have a diverse career spending time in proposals, engineering, project management, personnel management, and now product management. In addition to the breadth of business and engineering experience that I have gain, I have been blessed with traveling across 6 continents and countless counties to work with customers, suppliers, and other co-workers throughout. Learning about diverse cultures and experiences from the many people with whom I have engaged has broadened my vision of the world and our place in it. During the mid I has a tremendous opportunity living abroad with my family for 3-1/2 years which provided learning opportunities that I would not have had otherwise. While a very challenging time to move my family to the opposite side of the globe, we found strength in each other and embraced the opportunity. These broad and different experiences have made me a better engineer, business person, and individual allowing me to grow in appreciation for diversity of opinions, culture, and skills in our global environment. As I continue to learn and experience more of this world, it cements my resolve to be an active part of driving for a sustainable future.
