I have a strong passion for motivating and helping others to achieve their personal goals. I am committed to fostering an environment focused on integrity, collaboration, and respect. I am devoted to leading by example and providing transparent communication, creating a culture where associates feel encouraged and empowered to speak up and share their ideas as well as their concerns. I am highly motivated to have fun through creativity and recognition with a focus on people. My experiences include 20 years in management, 15 years of training and development, 15 years of operations management, and 14 years customer service excellence. As General Manager, my location reported revenue growth and decreases in losses, each year. I have excellent written and oral communication skills. Career accomplishments include: Created training manuals that created consistency, and improved quality for seven product lines. Implemented a training/employee development program that increased teamwork and lowered employee turnover, while increasing employee morale. Implemented an inventory management system that reduced excess inventory and minimized backlogged orders. Co-led project creating an American Sign Language (ASL) visual reference library in our learning and development catalog.
