I really enjoy working with spreadsheets all or most of the day. I have 8 years experience as a general Accountant, including time as an Accounts Receivable Specialist and Credit Analyst, but I have worn a lot of varying accounting hats. I am an organized, mathematic, solutions and detail-oriented Specialist with a background leveraging advanced Excel skills and hands on experience in finance, manufacturing, and logistics accounting. I am also versed in the preparation and audit of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, credit forecast and analysis, customer account management, data tracking, metrics, and month end close. I have a keen eye for process building, management, and improvement. I love to read and consumed over 70 books last year alone. I will always find the answer if I don't know it. I have great Google Fu. I am logical and have advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments, but I also have a creative flair and a love for the arts. I have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Industry Skills include: Financial Statements, Formula extension, Cost of Goods Sold or Manufactured. Quality control (ISO, HOQ). Invoicing. AR Coordinating. Mental math. Problem Solving. Process streamlining. Reconciliation. Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices. Comprehension of the bigger picture, as well as understanding the minutiae that make it up.Adept with Salesforce/Revenova, Accounting Seed, Infor_LN, XM, Xtender, Coupa, Cognos, Kronos, Quickbooks, TMS, & MS Office with an emphasis on Excel. Also proficient with Adobe products. Ihave an Associate's degree in Accounting, paid for out of pocket and with a scholarship. I am planning on leveraging that to finish a Bachelors in accounting, and then going for the CMA after that. I have a Microsoft Office Certification in Excel (Expert). I derive joy from financial statements and analysis *and* operational accounting. I love creating efficient and surprising excel formulas. I think it's important to work for a culture-centric company that values human capital and work-life balance. My education background also includes accelerated performance in classes for Creative and Technical Writing, as well as Culinary/Pastry Science. I was also in a program for the gifted prior to scoring in the 95th percentile on the entrance exam for an accelerated high school.
