My backstory: Taking part in the start-up of Abundance Aquaponics in 2012-2014 was a great experience in entrepreneurship. The company did not reach profitability and I grieved the loss of time, money, and effort. The experience convinced me that I needed to improve my technical skills in business management and operations. This led me to graduate school where I took MBA and Finance courses. Academic highlights included perfect marks Equity Valuation and winning a portfolio management competition. It was during my time in the Middle East that finance became a passion. Influential writers: Ray Dalio, Danielle Dimartino Booth, Aswath Damadoran, and Peter Drucker. In 2021, I decided to make a subscription course that helps buy-and-hold investors learn how they can optimize their portfolio.
