About Brian Carroll

I'm an engineer with hands-on experience in the manufacturing environment, specializing in process improvement, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. While my current title is Technical Writer, my day-to-day work goes far beyond documentation. As part of the process engineering team, I’ve led FMEAs, conducted time studies to improve process efficiency, created lockout/tagout procedures, and supported the team in rolling out new processes. I regularly collaborate with engineering and operations to translate complex systems into actionable procedures and training programs that improve safety, quality, and performance. My technical skill set includes Inventor, Excel, OptiVision, and SAP, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. I take a systematic, engineering-driven approach to every challenge I undertake, whether it's troubleshooting a process bottleneck, creating SOPs for a new process, or helping onboard new team members with effective training materials.I'm looking to grow into a role that allows me to apply my engineering background more directly while continuing to leverage my strengths in documentation, analysis, and team collaboration.
