About Brian Caswell

I am a nationally board-certified primary care practitioner practicing in the state of Florida as an Acupuncture Physician (AP or DOM), and a proud St. Petersburg native. I graduated with a Masters in Science degree in Classical Chinese Medicine and Herbal Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medicine in Asheville, NC, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee. The lineage from which I studied under and continue to honor is my mentor Master Yuen, an 88th generation Daoist priest from the Jade Purity School, Lao Tzu sect, and a 26th generation priest of the Complete Reality School, Dragon Gate sect. My goal and my passion, is combining this ancient wisdom and lineage of Classical Chinese medicine and fusing it with the most up-to-date Functional medical practices of the modern age. Over the last decade, I have worked with countless numbers of patients through some of their best and worst of times. I work with every patient to create an individualized comprehensive plan that encompasses Classical Chinese Medicine and Functional Medicine. This can include acupuncture, lifestyle, diet, nutrition, genetic research, environmental stressors, herbal, and neutraceutical supplementation, and other modalities to help in restoring, or discovering for the first time, optimal health and wellness.
