About Brian Catron

I currently serve as the Application Development Officer for all Alternate Delivery Channels for a two plus billion dollar asset size community bank in Central Kentucky. This envelopes all non-branch channels including mobile banking, consumer and commercial internet banking, social media, other internet based product offerings, EFT, cards, and VRU. This role focuses on new product implementation and enhancement projects; coordinating those efforts between the vendor, business unit, and technicians to provide stable, secure, and feature-rich products to our customers and give competitive advantages in the market to expand our reach. Much effort is put into system integration and data transference to provide a seamless experience for our customers across multiple channels. This role requires extensive vendor management and engagement on contract negotiations, product conversions and enhancements, product configuration, and market research of new trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. I work with a dedicated group of professionals that consistently exceed peer bank benchmarks and regulatory expectations. I am currently serving as Chair and National Product Manager for Fiserv Signature User Group Architecture, previously serving as Vice-Chair. This allows me the opportunity to lead roundtable discussions of product issues, resolutions, and best practices, and host subject matter experts on those topics and product roadmaps during monthly calls and annual conference. I have a keen interest in the best practices of Project Management. I am a certified PMP and have worked to implement those guidelines in projects I have led. I have helped in the creation of standardized documentation, policies, and guidelines, and establishing a central repository of those items. I am also assisting in the creation of a true PMO in our organization. I work with a great team of professionals and enjoy the daily challenges my role provides and knowledge I gain.
