About Brian Chung
I have long had an interest in climate change. As a result, I major in Earth Systems Science. I'm broadly interested in many topics of the Earth System, but I'm most interested in soils and terrestrial ecosystems. Along the way, I've also become interested in environmental justice and city planning, and I'm considering city planning as a possible area to address climate change. As a result, in addition to studying about the Earth System, I am currently taking classes in the department of Urban Planning and Public Policy at UCI. I'm also seeking opportunities regarding GIS and city planning. One of my dreams is to redesign existing cities using transit-oriented development or other modes of sustainable development while ensuring that socioeconomic equity is achieved.
