About Brian Cone

I am currently focused on anatomic pathology consultation with various biopharma and biotech companies, with experience in companion diagnostics as well as digital pathology consultations regarding artificial intelligence/machine learning generated images and image analysis algorithms/platforms. I have basic experience with python for AI/ML. I previously worked for 3+ years as a general surgical pathologist, with special expertise in urologic pathology. Pathology Clinical Lab Medical Director experience. CAP Lab Inspector, certified. Healthcare consulting. Contributing pathologist at PathAI (since July 2021). I have been involved in numerous translation pathology research projects and have published and presented multiple times in the field. I authored 2 chapters in a recently published pulmonary pathology textbook, Practical Lung Pathology, Springer 2022, eBook ISBN 978-3-031-14402-8 I am interested in medical directorship of high complexity pathology labs, I have very broad interests in science, math, computer science and basic coding, optics, microscopy, and other areas of biophysical technology. I like to work creatively and avoid grinds at all costs. I would be especially helpful in projects in early development.
