About Brian Davidek

With over 15 years of experience in long-term care and hospital settings, I am a compassionate and service-oriented certified nursing assistant and medical assistant-phlebotomist. I currently work as a psychiatric security attendant 2 at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, where I assist mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients under the direction of nursing and medical staff. In addition to providing daily living activities, I also lead patients in therapeutic, educational, counseling, and recreational activities, and accompany them to and from the treatment recovery center in The Gage Center of Forensic Excellence Department. As a culinary specialist in the US Army, I also apply my cooking skills and food safety knowledge to prepare and serve healthy and delicious meals for patients and staff. My mission is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of the people I serve, while respecting their dignity and individuality.
