About Brian Dawson

PMP-certified Program and Project Manager with 20 years of experience leading large-scale operations, infrastructure upgrades, and high-impact teams in support of global military missions. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I’ve managed $500M+ in portfolio programs, modernized tactical communications systems, and applied Agile, Six Sigma, and BICSI-aligned methodologies to drive results. I specialize in leading strategic programs involving contract management, infrastructure modernization, and complex logistics across defense and government operations. My leadership has been recognized with multiple Air Force Innovation, Leadership, and Information Dominance awards. From expeditionary readiness to secure facilities and comms sustainment, I’ve directly supported over 40 globally deployed units with mission-critical capabilities. I’m passionate about building resilient systems, empowering teams, and aligning projects with both operational and strategic objectives. I will begin my SkillBridge program in September 2025 and officially retire from the U.S. Air Force in March 2026. I’m currently exploring program management, infrastructure development, and operations leadership opportunities within defense contracting, federal support, or technology-driven organizations.
