About Brian Decker

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a background in treating addictions and trauma. Spending most of my career in OASAS clinics has allowed me to develop the tools necessary to reach even the most pre-contemplative individuals. Purpose Throughout my life I have felt a desire to help people through their pain and suffering. I want to help people see that there is hope throughout all of their negative experiences. I have felt called to go help people out of the dark corners of their lives so they can start living renewed lives. Vision To create and provide comprehensive and innovative mental health counseling and therapies for those who ask for help, breaking barriers along the way. Mission My aim is to provide skilled and trustworthy counseling delivered with integrity, focus, authenticity, warmth and professionalism. To help people through their darkest hour by promoting hope, healing and growth. Values As a counselor, I strive to provide the best quality treatment and support possible, remaining integrous and committed to the wellbeing of others. My values do not sway or fade, but rather hold steadfast through the storm. My values include: providing trustworthy support and quality guidance. A willingness to refer clients to other equipped therapists if I am not able to meet their needs. To provide fair, consistent, and affordable fees to every single client no matter their race, orientation, religion, or social status. To make available quality services that benefit the individuals defined goals. I value in myself and my clients: integrity, fairness, transparency and professionalism, as well as innovation, hard work, creativity, the willingness to learn and grow, and work life balance.
