Day-to-day, I endeavor to excel in my role as a Legal Sherpa to business and engineering teams, and everyone in between, balancing business drivers with legal realities to develop creative, risk-optimized solutions while readying to doggedly protect the my client's proprietary interests as circumstances dictate. Pre-Intel Legal Experience: • Intellectual property litigator with invaluable experience gained from six completed trials (three ITC, three in District Court - two jury trials and one bench trial) and numerous other matters resolved before trial. • USPTO-registered patent agent/attorney (Reg. No. 44,656) with significant preparation and prosecution experience. • Substantial experience in patent portfolio analysis and management, M&A, technology transactions, due diligence and client counseling. • Significant technology experience, across patent preparation and prosecution, litigation, M&A, and transactional work, in semiconductor fabrication, wireless communications (3G, 4G, 802.x), computer hardware and software, mechanical systems.
