About Brian Diven

I am a certified Scaled Agile Framework SAFe Practitioner (SP). Experienced in 18 months of SAFe/LEAN/Agile training. I have exercised this training as part of a DevOps team improving results to 24K field reps providing business value. I continue to strive to deliver results in a CD/CI fashion improving the methods to get there. Primarily as a storage specialist across mainframe, distributed systems, and workstations. I began in the mainframe storage arena and transferred to a vendor SE relationship. I assisted in growing the vendor business and my responsibilities went from local, to regional, to national, and then worldwide. I was published in the Technical Support trade rag regarding Storage Virtualization. I also specialized in BCP and DR as we entered the 9/11 timeline. I am currently enjoying employment at Northwestern Mutual which has solidified my desire for the direction towards ITIL/itSMF within Service Management, expanding my technical knowledge with direct involvement investigating/recommending/purchasing appropriate solutions, interacting/co-integrating with other business units appropriate solutions, all while being a Team Lead and directing this business area. My previous employment has provided me the experience to present many management levels above myself. And I thoroughly enjoy taking technical issues and translating them into business solutions, procuring the gear, Project Managing the solution to fruition, and then providing the before/after picture that should make everyone proud!
