I hold paramount the need for strong project and people leadership. Every situation has a unique set of circumstances that should influence our strategy. Through thirty years of practice with many teams, I have learned to focus on two areas of leadership. The first is that you are worthy of my respect exactly as you are and your voice needs to be heard to create better designs and have a more impactful career. The second is you’re capable of more than you give yourself credit for. As staff become empowered and equipped to collaborate solutions, we will quickly find ‘great work’ is in the middle of us all and not the result of driving an agenda. However, to reach this type of team, the culture must be built on a strong degree of trust and respect. Defining behaviors that build trust and celebrating them is as important as accountability for contradictory behaviors. Trust and respect is the foundation for all relationships with our existing clients, new clients, subcontractors and employees. In order to achieve results, the character and competency of all stakeholders need to be developed. Technical proficiencies include civil engineering services to both the public and private sectors with a large array of projects. I cut my teeth in the land development field and was fortunate to work on several high profile projects with unique challenges. Specific markets served include: medical, higher education, large scale commercial, residential, industrial and lower education. As a result of working with several local agencies, my career shifted to include building relationships within the public space. I have performed civil engineering services for local, state, and federal agencies as well. I will stay in this career to continue building teams that remain challenged technically, produce great products, and strengthen relationships internally and externally. We will define your success and strategize the plan accordingly.
