About Brian Eyre

As an educator at heart, my interests and passions have always been - and still are - to awaken what I believe to be the spirit and practice of leadership within. The world is awash with leadership speak - We talk and write about this topic almost ad nauseum. We do this because leadership is often lacking in the very people who are in leadership roles. My work and contribution to people over the years has principally been to bring to leadership thinking, businesses internal leadership development practices and collective organisational performance, a wiser and more relevant approach fit for today’s times. The crux of my work is mostly disruptive - why- because not many of the practices out there are working. New questions must be asked to breakout of our old paradigms, we must reframe our thinking and only then can we transform and put into practice better ways of working together and pursuing audacious targets. This can make people jittery, of course, because such questions are uncomfortable. I fully embrace the notion of emergence and the uncertainty that comes from that. In working with complexity, I believe in the value of collective wisdom over individual genius and in liberating people rather than dictating to them as an expert who knows best.
