About Brian Finner

Throughout the last twenty years, I have been fortunate to receive employment with the City of North Bay, The Northeastern Ontario Recreation Association, The Institute of Cultural Affairs, the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario, Carleton University and of course the Town of Iroquois Falls as the Director of Recreational Services and currently, Chief Administration Officer. These employment opportunities have cultivated my passion to encourage our community towards healthy active living, community development, improved infrastructure, economic growth, safe protective services as well as a continued team approach to highest level of customer excellence and level of service. I have also liaised with key stakeholders and developed partnerships throughout Ontario, facilitated and developed training programs and most importantly, learned the importance of developing a vision for an organization, as well as supporting that vision with a detailed work plan focused on key deliverables, coaching, development and accountability. I am excited about all future opportunities as I have seen the positive outcomes that can be derived from the programs, services, organizations and communities that I have been a part of over the past twenty years. I am certain my energy, enthusiasm, high standard of customer service, level of service and dedication will align well within your community or organization.
