About Brian Fish

With over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, I've worked my way up from data entry and yard checker to operations manager. My expertise includes intermodal drayage, truckload and over-the-road trucking, and brokerage. I have a wealth of hands-on experience, from driving trucks and unloading containers to working with drivers, longshoremen, steamship line management, and diesel mechanics.In 2016, I joined Profit Tools as an Implementation Specialist, working with hundreds of trucking companies across North America to implement and train a comprehensive enterprise TMS. My focus on achievable short-term goals in training helped me become an expert in change management. In 2020, I moved into TMS Sales while still acting as Implementation Specialist in certain unique situations.I've had the opportunity to work with companies of all sizes and in different geographic areas, gaining valuable insights and experience along the way. I now host The Getting Real With Podcast to share my knowledge and experiences with the industry.On a personal note, I'm a married father of two adult children, a member of IAABO Board 208 basketball officials and CMUSA Softball Umpires. I'm also an 11 handicap golfer and member of Shining Rock Golf Club. My passions include guitar, reading, and live music.
