About Brian Franks

I currently work in material improvement at Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (Akron). My hope is to one day find a career which will utilize my abilities to the fullest extent. I am a hard, disciplined worker and put forth my best effort daily. I am a very quick study and feel I am extremely personable. I am knowledgeable about metal processing, metal finishing and testing of metallic materials. I have a basic understanding of NDT techniques and am familiar with SAE AMS, Military, Federal, and ASTM specifications and standards. I feel I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and am proficient at technical/specification writing and technical report generation. I have frequent interaction with on-site personnel and other departments at MABS. I must consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
