About Brian George

Electronic Resources Librarian with Bachelor's in English, minor in Business Administration, and a Master of Library and Information Science. Interested in new challenges and opportunities. I believe that information is vital in making strong and logical decisions. In this regard libraries present an opportunity like no other in these times. As a gate to information, libraries offer patrons and citizens the ability to inform themselves in ways which can only enhance and strengthen democracy throughout the world. Librarians, as gatekeepers, are entrusted with an important key that should be recognized for its value, and should guard that key with complete knowledge of its importance. Access to information should be open to all and libraries in general, and digital libraries in particular offer this access more fully than any other organization currently in existence.
