Background
About Brian Glazier
ACS Certified Chemist with 6 years of R&D experience, one publication and a patent pending to date. I spent my last 3 years of my undergraduate working in the Manke Lab at UMass Dartmouth where I produced mostly Lanthanide/Actinide metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for use in carbon capture and sequestration. While working on this project I developed extensive skills in airfree chemistry, solvothermal synthesis and ligand synthesis. After undergraduate I went on to pursue a doctorate at Arizona State where I further refined my skills, particularly in airfree chemistry (including maintenance, glove box, schlenk line, etc), ligand design and synthesis. In addition to these I added catalyst development, screening, and general use to my repertoire including catalyst use for polymer and small molecule production.
