I’ve spent the past 23 years at Instinet, growing alongside the firm and evolving with the trading and fintech landscape. My career began in agency portfolio trading and electronic trading, where I developed a deep understanding of execution strategy, liquidity access, and institutional client needs. Since 2020, I’ve served as a Managing Director at Instinet Technology Solutions (ITS) — the fintech division of Instinet — where I’ve played a central role in building and scaling the ITS business into a trusted partner for both buy-side and sell-side firms globally.* Leadership & Global Team Management I lead a high-performing global team of 12 professionals, spanning North America, EMEA, and APAC. Together, we manage- Client implementations for our sell-side Order Management System (OMS) and buy-side Execution Management System (EMS) platforms- Ongoing client coverage, support, and satisfaction — ensuring smooth trading operations, regulatory compliance, and long-term client success. As a hands-on leader, I focus on talent development, cross-functional collaboration, and a client-first mindset that aligns technology delivery with measurable business outcomes.* Building the ITS Business Over the past several years, I’ve been instrumental in- Expanding our client base by delivering tailored trading technology solutions that address operational complexity and scalability- Enhancing product-market fit through deep client engagement and feedback loops- Strengthening client retention, with a sharp focus on service quality, workflow adaptability, and platform reliability- Driving strategic growth, both by onboarding new logos and by expanding existing relationships through added services and functionality.* Expertise in OMS & EMS Solutions - Sell-Side OMS: We deploy flexible order management systems that support broker-dealer workflows across high-touch, low-touch, agency and principal execution. Our solutions ensure execution managment, real-time risk management, and efficient middle- and back-office integration- Buy-Side EMS: We implement execution platforms for asset managers and hedge funds that require multi-asset trading, smart order routing, FIX connectivity, real-time data visualization, and customizable execution front-ends.
