About Brian Goldstein

Brian Goldstein, M.A, LMFT has a specialization in treating complex trauma and developmental injury, as well as working with how trauma is stored in the body and healed using a bottom-up, body-centered approach. Brian has extensive experience working with adolescent and adult individuals who struggle with trauma, attachment wounding, addictions, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and life transitions. Brian is incredibly passionate about helping clients discover new things about themselves and move toward an embodied and authentic life. Brian's research has primarily focused on the investigation of the impact of trauma on those diagnosed with personality disorders. ADVANCED TRAINING + SPECIALIZATIONS: Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Complex Trauma and Dissociation, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Natural Processing (Integration of EMDR and Somatic Experiencing), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. “Across my work in residential, outpatient, and private practice settings, I work with clients in an individualized, trauma-informed approach. I am committed to bringing compassion and attunement to foster my client’s felt sense of safety. I meet clients where they are and facilitate a pace of the work that supports healing and integration.”
