He has a proven record of delivering growth, leading high-performing teams, and spearheading transformation initiatives. Throughout his career, Brian has been known for his inspirational leadership style, marked by humility, positive energy, and an aptitude for building trust. As the President of Retread Tire Solutions at Bridgestone, he led a business providing solutions for commercial trucking companies across the North America and Europe. He led the strategy for the business unit’s innovative solutions that increase efficiency and sustainability for fleets—reinforcing Bridgestone’s position as an industry leader. Previously, in his role as President of Mobility Solutions and Fleet Management, he led a startup business unit driving the transformation of Bridgestone from a tire company to a mobility solutions leader. He led teams in development of innovative digital solutions connected to tires, maintenance, and mobility. Brian’s success at Bridgestone demonstrates his adaptability and learning agility, having previously advanced in the consumer packaged goods industry in executive roles at Kimberly-Clark, Unilever, and Kraft Foods. His time at Kimberly-Clark included leading the bath tissue business for North America as GM for the category, and serving as VP & Country Manager for Canada, leading a business encompassing nine categories of consumer products. At Unilever and Kraft Foods, he progressed from brand management to marketing leadership roles, driving growth for iconic brands including Breyers, Klondike, Good Humor, Cheez Whiz, Minute Rice, and Stove Top Stuffing. He built the foundation for his career with an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Washington Foster School of Business, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Nashville-based Mental Health Cooperative, a not-for-profit organization providing behavioral health services through 12 locations across Tennessee. Brian has earned a Certificate in Private Company Governance from PDA, gaining a strong understanding of independent director duties, private company structures, and best practices for board collaboration.
