About Brian Governson

After a hiatus of about 6 years, I'm back in the biological sciences, working for ImmunityBio. The previous 15 years of my biotech career was focused on quality control testing the products from the various companies I worked for. Now I'm in the R&D arena, working with yeast as the therapeutic delivery mechanism. This new chapter is exciting, new, and has much more "freedom" from the regulations of the cGMP environment. Utilizing the 5 principles of strength, cardio, flexibility, core, and balance, I will customize an exercise program tailored to fit your individual needs. As a personal trainer, I am dedicated to assisting you in reaching your personal fitness goals! I also have 20 years of goal driven, detail-oriented experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. I successfully meet testing deadlines and advance new products lines. My extensive background is founded on experience in Quality Control, developing characterization and analytical methods, and high throughput production. I’ve supervised a team of successful analysts in a high-throughput production laboratory. As project leader, our teams take a target from concept to completion, multi-tasking to meet critical timelines. I’m passionate about science and microbiology applying these qualities to my career. As a highly motivated team member, I’m an ideal candidate for any company looking for my extensive experience and skill set.
