At present I am responsible for the management and the operation of an Industrial CT scanning piece of equipment, specifically a Zeiss Metrotom 800, which is used for dimensional metrology, First Article Inspection, defect and assembly analysis through the use of Computed Tomography and I currently have 8 years experience in this field. I also instigated the business case and process to acquire this piece of equipment for West, which was the first in the Republic of Ireland, and with the help of Zeiss UK I successfully installed and verified the equipment upon delivery. I have been involved with Metrology and Quality for the past 18 years and I bring with me a vast array of metrology and quality knowledge, skills and experience.
