About Brian Grime

As an experienced collegiate coach and sports director, I bring over a decade of expertise in coaching, management, and event planning. My journey began with 10 years as a dedicated cross country and track and field coach at Heidelberg University and Tabor College, where I not only developed and led successful teams but also orchestrated numerous events, meets, and championship events. Transitioning to a leadership role as the Sports Director at Defiance YMCA and now the Recreation Program Specialist at Archbold Parks and Recreation, I have further honed my skills in organizing and managing youth and adult sports programs, as well as community events. My experience extends beyond coaching; I've successfully led fundraising initiatives, managed teams, and consistently delivered high-quality sports programming. I thrive in dynamic environments where I can leverage my strengths in event planning, team leadership, and program development to create impactful experiences for athletes and communities. I'm passionate about sports and committed to fostering environments where individuals can achieve their best, both on and off the field, as well as providing quality events for the community to experience with their families and friends.
