About Brian Haag

I have been involved in the construction industry virtually my entire life. My father was a developer and real estate broker in Wisconsin and moved the family company to Cape Coral in 1980. After finishing high school, attending the University of Florida and spending 4 1/2 years in the United States Navy, I joined the family real estate firm in 1990. In 1996 I launched Gulfstream Building and Development and transitioned it to Gulfstream Development Group in We took the company from a custom home building company that had built homes well over sq.ft. to a multifaceted building and development company with multiple offices up and down the coast of SW Florida. After building nearly homes in SW Florida, and designing and developing multiple residential subdivisions, we added Blue Oak Construction in Gulfport, MS to aid in rebuilding the Gulf Coast after the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina. With nearly 300 homes completed in this area along with several large commercial renovations, we wrapped our Mississippi operations in 2010. In 2012 I launched Windward Construction, LLC utilizing the same innovative design concepts and attention to detail that drove Gulfstream to become one of SW Florida's largest and most successful building and development companies. Windward has taken off with designs that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living spaces. With several new developments in the works including a beautiful new model center located at 4125 SW 27th Pl. in Cape Coral, Windward Construction is making a splash in the SW Florida housing market.
