Experienced C-level executive and consultant, dynamic speaker, published author, Brian has a passion for helping organizations reach their goals and achieve success. With nearly 40 years of experience in financial institutions and capital markets, Brian has devoted more than 30 years to serving credit unions, partnering with Rochdale clients to provide expertise through risk measurement and management, risk-centric strategic planning, risk appetite assessments and other consulting services. Brian previously served as President and CEO of Corporate Network Brokerage Services (CNBS) for more than 15 years where he was responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the firm. Prior to being named CEO, Brian served CNBS as Senior Vice President, Investment Advisory Services, and Chief Economist for CNBS’ then-parent, a $30 billion wholesale financial institution. Prior to CNBS, Brian worked in the Capital Markets Division of an $11 billion thrift institution. He began his career with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, where he established himself as the region’s resident expert in risk-controlled arbitrage strategies. He has also worked as an adjunct instructor in the MBA program at the University of St. Mary’s. Brian has authored two books on investment portfolio management for credit unions, numerous articles and industry white papers, and he’s been a featured columnist for several trade publications. As a sought-after speaker at numerous regional and national conferences, Brian is a thought leader on the topics of economics, fixed income investments, portfolio management, financial institutions and risk management.
