Superintendent establishing a vision and developing a focused plan for achieving district goals. Developing processes to communicate and collaborate effectively. Working with the board of education to identify, prioritize and set policies and governance procedures that maximize the success of all students. Leading the creation of instructional systems designed for high student achievement.Managing and organizing the district’s resources (human, fiscal, operational and material) to accomplish district goals. Personnel Director overseeing all aspects of human resources in a public school system. Elected to serve the Ohio Association of School Personnel Administrators as President. Recruiter charged with the challenge of staffing our buildings with the most talented administrators, teachers and support staff in the field. Committed to having a presence with local college and universities placement offices. Grievance chairman hearing and mediating all grievances. Responsible for informing the board of legal opinions and preparing the district's position when greivances went to arbitation. Represented the Board of Education successfully negotiating six collective bargaining agreements each ratified in a timely manner. Safety Director responsible for the development and implementation of all emergency plans. Coordinated employee training and exercises. Recognized, three years in a row, by the Capital Area Safety Council for excellence in reducing work related injuries. Food Service Coordinator responsible for all aspects of food service in a K-12 school environment, including menu development, purchasing, food safety training and kitchen design. Served on the Governing Board of the Metropolitan Educational Council. Served as a member of the Metropolitan Educational Council's Purchasing Committee. Head baseball coach leading a high school program from a six win program to a program ranked among the 10 best division IV teams in the state of Ohio.
