About Brian Harrop

I’ve been in the theatre industry for almost 20 years. Started low and worked my way to the top (still looking for the peak). I was an operations manager for 12 years, transitioned and trained two theatres as a Carmike Theatre Ambassador, and as a GM I opened a new theatre in a new market. I was working in the AP department at AMC Theatres corporate office. Started as Invoice Specialist doing coding and I was promoted to the Accountant, Payment Management role. For two years now, I have had the role of Coordinator, Business Management for our Design, Construction, Facilities, and Sight & Sound teams handling all of their fiscal reporting and accounting. My adaptability is my number one trait that I deem as the most important. My favorite thing to do is learn about a process and find the most efficient way to perform that task at a higher level than others. My goal is to move up and do it as fast as possible, while still leaving my mark as being supportive and loyal to anyone I work with/around/or for.
