At Genesis Structures I help create, design, and implement the processes and temporary structures needed for bridge construction or demolition. A few specific projects I have helped design and coordinate- Merchants St. Bridge over the Mississippi River in St. Louis, MO -> Existing Truss Segmental Demolition Evaluation and Design - Champ Clark Bridge over the Mississippi River in Louisiana, MO -> Existing Bridge Demolition Sequence Design and Evaluation- SH249 / SH99 Highway Interchange in Houston, TX -> Designed Temporary Steel Falsework Structures for Bridge Construction - Nicollet Avenue Bridge over Minnehaha Creek in Minneapolis, MN -> Preliminary Design of Rehabilitated Concrete Arch Bridge using AASHTO LRFD Methods. Currently working on 100% Design Evaluation- Loxahatchee Railroad Bridge over the Loxahatchee River in Loxahatchee, FL -> Designed Temporary Jump Span using AREMA Specifications to facilitate the Removal of the Existing Bascule Bridge and Installation of the New Bascule Bridge. The Jump Span is designed to accommodate typical rail traffic with the ability to be lifted out of position to allow larger boat traffic through the channel.
