With over 20 years of experience in transportation and commodity trading, I am a business development leader who thrives on building long-term relationships with new and existing customers, delivering value-added solutions, and driving revenue and profit growth. I am currently the Business Development Lead for the Americas at Cargill, one of the world's largest agribusiness and food companies, where I manage a team of business development managers who support Cargill Ocean Transportation's global trade flow strategy in ocean freight. As a certified chartering professional and an ocean freight expert, I have a deep understanding of the market dynamics, trends, and opportunities in the dry bulk shipping industry. I have successfully developed and executed go-to-market strategies, broker relationships, and account penetration plans for the East Coast, US Gulf, Caribbean, and West Coast markets. I have also been a key speaker and panelist at various industry events, sharing my insights and expertise on freight futures, freight trading, and government contracting. My mission is to leverage my skills and experience to help Cargill Ocean Transportation achieve its vision of being the most trusted and reliable partner in the ocean transportation industry.
