About Brian Humphreys

With over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I am a chartered professional engineer and manager with a master's degree in maritime technology management. I have successfully managed and delivered pipeline engineering projects from concept design to decommissioning, working with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple countries and regions. Currently, I am the field engineering lead for Wood, overseeing the construction of the Angore pipeline and surface facilities project in PNG. I am responsible for coordinating and supervising all field engineering activities, including bulk earthworks, piling, structural concrete, camp and security infrastructure, HV and FOC cables, and communication tower. I am passionate about delivering high-quality and safe outcomes for our clients and partners, while ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards. I am also keen to apply my skills and knowledge to new challenges and opportunities in the oil & gas, engineering or maritime sectors.
