About Brian Jeffrey Gross

In 2012, my childhood best friend and I co-founded AthleteTrax, a SaaS company that provides recreational sports facilities with cloud-based payment processing and back office management tools. In 2016, we joined forces with a third partner to co-found Pineapple Payments, which provides payments technology solutions to SMBs and SaaS companies. In 2019 everything came full circle when Pineapple acquired AthleteTrax, and we officially closed out an almost decade long journey when Fiserv acquired Pineapple in May, 2021. Over the years, I have worked with numerous early stage companies as an investor, advisor, and board member and tried to bring both knowledge and wisdom from my direct experiences in order to help other entrepreneurs achieve their dreams. I moved to Iceland with my family in 2020 and have continued to do just the same here in Reykjavik. After more than three years of straddling both sides of the pond, I have joined Teya as CEO of Teya Iceland. I am excited to continue building on my career that has always been at the intersection of software & payments and focused on driving excellence in execution.
