About Brian Kane

I entered the publishing world as a paste-up artist eventually taking on the role of Design Manager within the Creative Services department at Pearson, the world’s largest education/learning company. At Pearson, I led a motivated and skilled team of designers in developing award-winning and industry-leading K-12 marketing campaigns that helped generate over 800 million dollars of annual sales. In 2012, I took a break from the education industry to work for a small, full-service design agency where commitment to quality, integrity and personal attention was at the forefront of the creative process. At Page2, I oversaw the creative work for accounts that covered a variety of markets that included pharmaceutical, finance and investments, wine and spirits, technology, industrial, and chemical manufacturing. Currently, as Associate Creative Director, I lead creative for Shark’s Cordless Vacuum category—shaping how the brand shows up across campaigns that include packaging, digital, social, video, and retail displays. I work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Consumer Insights, Industrial Design, Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams to turn innovation into compelling stories, and guide a team of creatives to bring those stories to life. From concept to launch, I drive cohesive, high-impact work across every touchpoint—always pushing for ideas that perform, resonate with consumers, and elevate the brand. Overall, I have an amiable work ethic and a deep appreciation for design aesthetics. My career has been built from the ground up, so I understand not only the creative process but how to leverage individual skill sets and apply my own. I offer design direction, guidance, and the expertise required to be an effective team leader. I’m also proficient in the latest design software applications and technically savvy. So, when it comes time to get into the weeds, I’m also able to provide my team with any necessary hands-on support.
