I am an experienced Technical Resources Manager, Regulatory and Certification Specialist, and Hazardous Location Electrical and Non-Electrical Equipment and Standards Expert, with a demonstrated history working in the electrical/electronic products and gas engine manufacturing industries. Through years of progressive experience working in Engineering, Operations, Certifications and Sales Groups, I have developed strong technical and project management skills in electrical and mechanical testing, product certification, hazardous location and industrial equipment, design, application, and manufacturing, national and international codes and standards development, technical writing, vendor selection, evaluation, and negotiation, electrical safety, environmental compliance, international regulatory compliance, EPA emissions compliance, quality assurance, marketing, sales presentations, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis. I am an active learner and a national and international subject matter expert in hazardous location equipment, lighting, and wiring devices through my work in developing and maintaining standards, as Vice-Chair for the Integrated Committee for Hazardous Locations for Canada, participation on IEC TC31 and TC34 committees, project teams, maintenance teams, and working groups, as well as participation on the Canadian Integrated Committee for Lighting Products and Integrated Committee for Wiring Devices.
